The Food Court at Knox Academy is open to pupils for the purchase of food and drinks as detailed below:
Monday - Thursday
- Breaktime: 11.10 am - 11.25 am
- Lunchtime: 1.05 pm - 1.45 pm
Friday:
- Breaktime: 10.20 am - 10.35 am
The menu follows a three-week rota.
The Food Court is ‘cashless’, pupils have a Smartcard that they can load money onto at one of the machines located throughout the Food Court/Social Area. Parents/Carers can also send in a cheque (payable to East Lothian Council), please ensure you note the child’s name and class on the reverse, or top up the card online with East Lothian Online Payments.
There is no maximum spend limit on cards (per day), however on request (by letter) this can be activated. The Food Court Supervisor can be notified in writing c/o Knox Academy. If activated a letter is required to remove the spend limit.
Pupils who are in receipt of Free School Meals have funds credited to the Smartcard before morning interval each day. On a Friday pupils entitled to a free school meal should collect their lunch at morning interval.
