There will not be a Green Team meeting this week due to French talking exams taking place. The Green Team will be back up and running after the Easter break!
The Bulletin: S2
The French Department will be carrying out the Final Talking Assessment Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th and Friday 31st. Pupils should not come into the French Department (outside Miss Laudi's, Mrs Cochrane's & Miss McBride's rooms) or the 1st floor of English (outside Mr Fyvie's/Mrs Rankine's rooms) unless they have a class, this includes at break and lunch time as Talking Assessments will still being carried out. Signs have been put to remind pupils and to advise on noise level, please respect these requests as the assessment is worth 30% of pupils final grade.
Yesterday was a successful day for the staff in the football match against the S6 team with a comfortable 5-1 victory. Mr Gilholm slotted a penalty away, Mr Wands scored a screamer into the top corner from the edge of the box and Mr Crawford completed a perfect hat-trick. The S6's got a late consolation goal before the referee blew the final whistle. Thanks to all staff and pupils for taking part and to those who came down to support the game.
A reminder to all Italian Explorers that the final excursion payment was due last week (unless special arrangements are in place). Please ensure that any overdue payments are made as soon as possible.
The fire drill yesterday was a success with everyone being out of the building in under 4 minutes.
Could all pupils remember to leave the building quickly and quietly (not chatting and sauntering along), and be aware of where their nearest fire exit is?
After school, staff will take on the S6 pupils out the back of the school in an epic football match. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch the game (as long as you are supporting the teachers)!!
Thanks Mr MacDonald
All S2 classes are reminded that their group must be ready to show their globalisation video at the start of their Business & IT period this week.
Everyone is responsible for this, and accountable for their team. Access is available at break, lunch and after school if additional time is required on PCs. Your video should be ready for display on the classroom projector. Remember to save/export your video appropriately.
