The Knox Maths Department has a number of opportunities for your child to make sure they are well prepared for their National 5 and Higher Maths Exams. In addition to a number of revision sessions during lunchtime and after school (a timetable can be found on our Website), the RevisionHUB (www.knox.is/revisionhub) is our dedicated place for pupils to find practice on specific topics. It includes worksheets, answers, video tutorials and quizzes.

We have also decided to run, for the first time, revision sessions on a Friday after school from 1245 - 1415. The 5 sessions will be approximately six weeks apart and the dates and we ran a very successful first session recently based on three topic areas decided by pupils: "Arcs and Sectors...

Knox Academy and East Lothian Council are delighted to announce that The ‘Jam Packed’ Computing Project is coming to deliver it’s first event in Scotland.

On Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of May we will be hosting what's known as a Raspberry Jam event here in the school and there are 3 main parts:

The first is in school on the morning of the 29th and we're going to have Primary pupils taking part.

The second part is open to all and is our Friday night Family Hack Jam between 6-9pm. Parents are encouraged to come in with the children and take part in various workshops....

The Kodu Kup is open to anyone from a Scottish school aged between seven to fourteen years old. Children must be entered by their school teacher as a team of three, forming a mini “game studio”.

If you are having a spring clean and want to get rid of some old video game equipment, why not donate it to the school Computing Department?

This would be greatly appreciated and would contribute to the new Computer Games Development course.
